The CosmiKiva Project is a sanctuary and safe space provided at large festivals and events for people having difficulty processing an experience while under the influence of psychoactive substances.

We provide this space because we believe that nobody should ever have to go through a difficult psychedelic journey without knowing that support can be found if needed.

CosmiKiva Sanctuary is a safe place to process and re-integrate information from experiences with psychoactives as well as a place to share information and engage dialogue about psychoactives and their potential uses and effects.

The CosmiKiva project has been modeled on peer support projects such as MindBodyLove and Higher Knowledge Network and is supported by Health Canada's Drug Strategy Community Initiatives Fund and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies - Rites of Passage project ( www.maps.org/ritesofpass...riences.html ).
